The satay here is amazing! Juicy, tender, and perfectly grilled with that smoky flavor. The peanut sauce is rich and addictive — I could drink it like soup. Definitely one of the best satays I’ve had!

I had lunch with my wife here. The cashier/server was nice, informative. The food prep service was around 15 mins (assuming the satay were all freshly dibakar). Food rating: Satay ayam RM1.40 - Sedap, no fats, medium size, tak overcooked Satay daging RM1.90 - Sedap, tenderloin all, tak overcooked, tak kenyal. Overall puas hati, kuah kacang felt homemade, not too much kacang. Drink: The kopi bakar definitely one of the best coffee I had in a cafe style restaurant. The blend was so smooth, halus, tak terlalu manis. Not to say kena with satay, but if nak datang lepak ngopi, I would recommend give it a go

Thought the satay is good, its not the way I liked it. But even then I think it's good satay. The marinate is strong and you can tell it been marinated for hours. The meat is lean, no fat and still very tender. For me I prefer my satay with a little fat thought. The marinate can overpower the taste of meat, and for me I prefer more meat taste then the marinate. The kuah kacang is good, clean and not thick and oily like most satay shop. Price is a lil higher... But there is more effort that was put into the satay. Good to try at least once.

Just had an amazing meal at Mengkuang Cafe! Traditional meets innovation done right. The patin tempoyak was rich and flavorful, the satay with lontong daun pisang was super juicy, and the kopi O bakar iced hit the spot. Calm vibes, great service definitely worth a visit!. A hidden gem worth checking out.

The satay is really good despite the meat was not marinated with lemon grass. We don’t taste the bakar scent so guess they use electric grill to “bakar” the satay. Peanut sauce is thick and flavourful. The nasi lemak is not bad either. The sambal is good and it’s better to dip satay into the sambal than peanut sauce

Came on recommendation by friend. 1st time having sate indoor setting. The taste is authentic especially the lamb & duck satay. A variety of other special such as king oyster mushroom, beef tongue, rabbit, cockles etc. They have website to order take away as well! Do try if nearby!

First time trying indoor satay in an interesting setup cafe. The chicken satay is so tasty n tender! Great marination The beef tenderloin satay also is pretty tender to my surprise. I love that they use Japanese cucumber. The nasi himpit is bit on the too soft side. The Satay sauce, personally lacks of flavour n totally not spicy. It’ll be nicer if it has some serai n some spicyness in it. Price wise also very reasonable. Overall, I wouldn’t mind coming back here.
